Dorrans has been out of action for much of the last two seasons but was named on the bench for the final game of the season against Kilmarnock.

Martin played with Dorrans at club level for Norwich and for Scotland before the two joined forces again at Ibrox last January – with Martin insisting his former team-mate is a “top player.”
“I loved most of my time at the club, I still have good friends there and people forget about Graham Dorrans,” Martin told the Daily Record.

“If he can put his injury problems behind him he’ll be like a new signing – a top player who can help them go toe to toe with Celtic. I believe they will do that.”
Dorrans has only managed three first-team appearances this season after an injury nightmare stretching back to Pedro Caixinha’s time in charge.

The veteran midfielder has been involved in a number of reserve and closed-door games as he looks to relaunch his career after 18 months out.
If he can return to full fitness next season then he could have a massive part to play as Steven Gerrard’s side look to win their first Premiership title since 2011.
