It promises to be an immensely emotional moment for the support who’ve stuck by the club through thick and thin and Rangers promise to mark the occasion with expert coverage.

Whilst the club are encouraging any season ticket holders who can’t make the match to put their ticket up on SeatSub to ensure a full-house, fans can also purchase a matchday pass to watch the game at home.

The coverage will be hosted by Emma Dodds whilst former Gers duo Neil McCann and Alan Hutton will return to Ibrox to provide analysis.

RangersTV have exclusive live coverage of the match and it will be available within the UK and across the rest of the world.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been talking up the occasion but reminding his players the day is all about three points.

“Yeah, I think the fans deserve that moment,” said Gerrard [Rangers].

“Unfortunately it couldn’t be at the beginning of the season, we’ve had to be patient but I think it’s all about the fans enjoying that, they deserve it and we’re really pleased for them that they can enjoy that.

“We’ll obviously be aware of it and we’ll respect it of course, but for me the key thing at the weekend is to try and take three points, simple as that.”
