Rangers’ U19s are in Germany to participate in a youth tournament, alongside some of the biggest clubs in European football.
It’s been a season of significant positives for the development system, so far.
Graeme Murty’s reserves, are currently top of the SPFL Reserve League, while the U21s recently emerged victorious from a trip to Rapid Vienna.

Additionally, earlier in the week, it was announced that the overall programme would receive a significant funding increase.

On an individual front, promising youngster, Dapo Mebude, signed a new long-term contract.
Prolific young striker, Andy Dallas, has seen strong performances rewarded with two
recent appearances on the bench for the first team.
Today, another big opportunity presents itself.
The Gers U19s are in action against Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin and Rapid Vienna in the Mercedes Benz Junior Cup, in Stuttgart.
Several big names such as Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane and Marcus Rashford have previously competed. Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich is a past Player of the Tournament recipient.

Clearly, there is likely to be some real talent on show.
That being said, it’s a great opportunity for the Gers youngsters to test themselves.
For those running the club’s youth set up, this is also a chance to compare notes with the very best around.

Impressively, the side drew 1-1 with Bayern in their first fixture of the day.
A stream is available for the remaining matches at rangers.co.uk or on the club’s facebook page.
Best of luck to the young Gers!
