Rangers to miss out on £5m winger club 'like' - report

Rangers look set to miss out on a stunning move for Danish winger Andreas Skov Olsen, with reports claiming he is set to join Belgian side Club Brugge.

According to B.T, the Dane will move to Belgium for around £5million after being linked with a move to Ibrox as Gio van Bronckhorst reshapes his squad.

The 14-times capped Dane currently plays for Bologna in Serie A and has been linked consistently with Rangers over the last 12 months but it appears the Gers have missed out on their man.

Rangers media partner Heart and Hand suggested on social media that the club ‘liked’ the player but was sceptical of the price tag on his head.

However, after only making six starts this term for the Italians, he’s grown frustrated at his lack of football for Bologna and is said to be keen to move on.

The winger recently admitted in November that he would “find a solution” to his lack of action “soon and it seems he’s now found that with Club Brugge, saying:

“I have been happy to be in Bologna, but I also have to think about myself and my development.

“I am 21 years old (now 22) and just want to play match every weekend from the start and in a position that I can develop in relation to the strengths I have on the field.

“I’m sure we will probably find a solution to that soon”

Meanwhile, a Rangers-linked attacker is reportedly now pushing to leave his current club this month.
