Rangers take centre stage as the club announce Ibrox Stadium will be included in EA Sports FC 2024; the newly rebranded FIFA franchise.

For years avid gamers have prayed for the platform to include the iconic ground and now they are set to get their wish as the club unveiled a teaser this week.

In some stunning drone footage over the iconic ground, EA Sports FC players got a glimpse of what Ibrox will look like in game and Rangers fans are already salivating.

The FIFA franchise is one of the most iconic in EA Sports’ gaming repertoire and with the new EA Sports FC brand set to launch they’ve certainly done themselves no harm with the Rangers support by drawing up Ibrox.

With the Ultimate Team game mode said to be worth more than £1bn+ alone to EA Sports each year, this is a big money project and Rangers will be front and centre of the new launch.

Rangers fans delighted as EA Sports FC unveil Ibrox plans

Rangers announced a partnership with the then FIFA branded EA Sports platform last season, the club announcing then that real player likenesses and the stadium would soon be included in the game.

Ibrox has not been included in a FIFA game since the 1990s although the iconic Eastpoint Arena has been used by Rangers fans as an alternative.

The link-up with EA Sports FC also comes after Rangers had signed a deal with Konami a few seasons ago, with Ibrox included in the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise back in 2019.

Whilst this is the formerly FIFA branded game’s biggest rival, there is no denying who the daddy of football gaming is and Rangers fans will be delighted to be on side with EA Sports.

The game is officially set for release on the 29th of September but fans can get early access through a variety of special editions which will cost them more money.
