Just last week, we asked what has happened to Rangers starlet Serge Atakayi?
The 20-year-old returned from a loan stint in Finland back in June, and featured for the Development XI in two matches last month.

However, since then, despite being told by Gerrard he would be part of the first-team plans this season [Daily Record], he has dropped off the radar.
Does he have an injury or is he out of favour? The club have provided no clarification.
We still aren’t sure ourselves, but after he posted cryptically on Instagram on Monday evening, it’s clear he’s keen to get back onto the pitch, some way or another.
His caption, ‘Laisse moi jouer encore’ followed by the fingers crossed emoji, translates to ‘Let me play again.’
The image appears to be an action shot from his recent loan spell in the Veikkausliiga with SJK Seinajoki. Atakayi turned out ten times for the Finnish side, scoring once.
What do we make of the post?
Could this be a call for prospective suitors to sign him from Rangers before the window closes next week? Or is he simply an injured player craving a return to action?
The Gers development team are in Glasgow Cup action against Partick Thistle this evening, so it will be interesting to see whether or not he’s involved this time around.
We’ll keep an eye out for further developments on Atakayi, a player who Gerrard handed a senior debut to in November 2018 against Motherwell.
