Rangers star admits he never realised how 'huge' the Gers are

Rangers winger Ryan Kent has admitted that being at a club the size of the Gers has brought out the best in him – but confessed that he “didn’t realise how huge” the Light Blues are.
Kent has had a fantastic season on loan, picking up the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year, and fans are desperate to see him return to Ibrox after the summer.

The on-loan Liverpool man insists it was nice to get praised after scoring in the last Old Firm clash – but is focusing on continuing to improve before his return to Anfield.
“Of course, it’s nice to be spoken about by the fans for that game, but I’ve always believed you are only ever as good as your last game,” Kent said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.

“That’s how I keep trying to improve myself as a player. You can’t dwell on those moments or be happy about something that happened months ago or even my most recent game.
“I’ve enjoyed myself at Rangers and the size of the club brings out the best in me. I didn’t realise how huge a club it was.”
Kent has scored six times and contributed nine assists in his 40 appearances for the Gers this season and has impressed with his performances.
Gers boss Steven Gerrard has made no secret of his desire to keep Kent at Ibrox but much will depend on Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

With several years left on his Liverpool deal, Klopp may want to give Kent another season on loan before making a decision over his long-term future.
If he does, then Rangers should hopefully be in pole position to bring him back to Ibrox.
