The Rangers SLO (Supporters Liaison Officer) has provided an update to supporters about the ongoing issues with season ticketing financing.
Back in March, it was announced that the previous season ticket financing provider Zebra Finance would be withdrawing their service. This means they wouldn’t be offering their usual four or ten-month repayment options.
And the Rangers SLO has confirmed that the club is yet to find an adequate replacement for the ten-month payment plan. It leaves many supporters uncertain if they can renew their season tickets.
However, the Rangers SLO did confirm that the club would be able to offer a four-month repayment plan.
It’s frustrating for supporters and many might be asking why the club have chosen to open season ticket renewals without one in place.
Football clubs usually open up season ticket renewals at this time of the season for two main reasons. Firstly, to ensure supporters have their seats in place before the season starts. That’s those that are renewing and those who’re buying new seats.
And secondly, so they can get an idea of financing going into pre-season. This reiterates what Dave King said in his letter to supporters.
The Rangers Chairman said the club intends to use all the finance from season tickets to invest in the playing squad.

Season ticket renewals are open until the 20th of May and more information can be found HERE.
