Rangers have announced a new partnership with takeaway giant Uber Eats that will see the brand enjoy greater visibility in Ibrox Stadium.

Uber Eats – which operates in over 250 towns and cities in the UK – sees users order food from a range of restaurants up and down the country.

Under the new partnership, the brand will be more prominent on matchdays on the LEDS and the jumbotrons.

On top of that, new users to the service have been invited to download the Uber Eats and use the code GERSEATS to get £10m off their first three orders.

Rangers commercial and marketing director James Bisgrove has lauded the move as an “excellent partnership”.

“This is another excellent partnership for the club, and it is tremendous for us to be associated with another brand of such repute,” said Bisgrove [Rangers].

“It is fantastic our supporters will be able to benefit directly too from this partnership with exclusive discounts, and we look forward to working closely with Uber Eats in the coming season.”

Uber Eats have also been expressing their delight regarding the move with general manager Sunjiv Shah claiming the brand will be supporting Rangers FC this season.

“Since our launch in 2017 we’ve delivered millions of meals across Glasgow and know our customers are big football lovers,” said Shah.

“We’re thrilled to be supporting Rangers FC and their fans this season and can’t wait to deliver food to fans celebrating Rangers’ wins.”

Rangers continue to sign a range of associate partnerships which help bring commercial revenue into the club and promote the club’s brand on a variety of platforms.

But whilst Rangers continue to find success in this regard, the club have once again snubbed the SPFL and their title sponsor ahead of a big weekend at Ibrox.
