Rangers Hampden hoodoo continued in yesterday’s 3-1 defeat to Hibs at the national stadium.
A first-half Martin Boyle hattrick was enough to power the capital side into a three-goal advantage.

Scott Arfield managed to score just before halftime to give Rangers some hope that a comeback could be mounted in the second half.
It proved to be a false dawn however and no further goals were scored, allowing Hibs to ease into the final.
Rangers’ recent record at the national stadium is horrific. Since the Ibrox side was promoted back into the top flight, we have played at Hampden eight times, and only won once.
Our only victory came in the League Cup semi-final clash against Hearts in November 2019, before the side went on to controversially lose the final to Celtic.
What is it with Rangers and Hampden? It’s beginning to feel like a curse.
Admittedly the club is currently going through a transitional period now, but that isn’t an excuse.
We should have had more than enough to fend off a Hibs side who hadn’t won in their last four outings.
With Giovanni van Bronckhorst watching from the stands, this match should have acted like an audition for the current squad.
The Dutchman looks like he has quite a lot of work to do. There could be a few changes to the starting XI for his first game in charge against Sparta Prague.

It feels like another massive opportunity wasted regarding getting our hands on another trophy. How long can Rangers barren run at Hampden continue?
Hopefully, the side can rebound with a vital win against Sparta Prague, otherwise, it could be a long few weeks.
In other news, Rangers fans aren’t happy with Connor Goldson’s comments after the Hibs defeat.
