Rangers planning to run special Soccer Schools in Stornoway

Rangers are planning a range of Soccer Schools on the island of Lewis as they take the special events to Stornoway from 22nd to the 26th of July.
The Soccer Schools act as an introduction to football and a higher-level of football coaching. They are designed for kids from 18 months all the way up to 16 years of age and are open to boys and girls.
And whilst much of the schools training is about having fun and enjoying football, there’s every chance one of two youngsters might catch the eye.

It’s great to see Rangers casting their net further to these rural areas. It’s perhaps even poignant that it’s taking place in Stornoway.
The Lewis & Harris Rangers Supporters Club is famously the biggest Rangers Supporters Club in the world.
The Hebridean islands have famously always had an affinity to the royal blue of Rangers. And now the club is somewhat repaying that by venturing up north to introduce young talent to the way Rangers do things.

It’s not the first interesting Soccer Schools adventure Rangers have embarked on this season either.
The Ibrox club was in Shanghai recently launching a set of Soccer Schools which also acted as a networking opportunity in China.
