Rangers make exciting move in response to 'incredible demand' from supporters

In an exciting response to ‘incredible demand’ from supporters, Rangers have announced a Champions Trophy Tour which is set to take place over the coming weeks [Rangers.co.uk].

It’s several months since the Gers were confirmed as Champions and just over one month since James Tavernier held the trophy aloft following a 4-0 final day win over Aberdeen.

Fans were robbed of the opportunity to see the trophy at Ibrox that day due to Covid restrictions, but some have since had the opportunity to pose for pictures with it during stadium tours.

Now, the Champions Trophy Tour is going to provide that opportunity to many more supporters, without them even having to travel to the ground.

The tour, which has been developed in conjunction with club partners 5 Stars, will see the trophy taken to Belfast, Ayrshire, Inverness and Lewis, with a Glasgow venue also on the list.

Season ticket holders and MyGers members have access to a priority sales window and a reduced ticket price of £25, while all other supporters will have to pay £35 for the experience.

It’s a great move from the club given how long supporters have had to wait to see Rangers ribbons back on the trophy.

Bears are still basking in the glory of the title win and there’s little doubt that the ‘extremely limited’ tickets will be snapped up quickly.

In other news, Rangers have been dealt a possible transfer blow after a European club confirmed that they are in talks with a reported Ibrox target.
