Rangers loanee Jordan Rossiter earns League Two promotion with Bury

Rangers loanee Jordan Rossiter has helped guide League Two Bury to promotion despite his adopted side drawing 1-1 with Torquay.
The Liverpool Academy graduate has been on-loan at the Greater Manchester club since January. He’s been earning some much-needed game time with the Shakers and has been central to their success since the transfer window.
And he was clearly enjoying himself as the celebrations got underway after the match.

Rossiter has been getting the chance to play first ream football down at Bury over the last few months. The youngster has spent much of his three-year spell in Glasgow on the treatment table.
It’s been hugely frustrating for supporters, but undeniably more so for Rossiter. The youngster came very highly rated when signed by Mark Warburton in 2016 but has never truly got going.
Now 22, it is essential Rossiter gets minutes in order to ensure his career doesn’t stagnate.

The youngster has made more appearances for Bury than he has in his entire Rangers career. He also picked up two Man of the Match awards in a row not long after joining the League Two side.

It’s great to see him get the minutes and get the rewards for his efforts. There’s real hope both Rossiter and another Rangers loanee can come back and make an impact on Gerrard’s squad next season.
