Not only that, but his consistency has also improved massively. There were times during the previous few seasons where he may have an excellent game followed by a run of poor matches, this has changed.

The Nigerian international is finally shining, and he is a key member of this Rangers side that is currently chasing glory on three fronts.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

His form hasn’t gone unnoticed either, as Ferguson has written about how valuable he is right now.

“You could see straight away he was a talented man,” said Ferguson [Daily Record].

“Aribo has taken his game to a whole new level and become an even better player than most of us ever thought he could be.

“He is now the most important player in Van Bronckhorst’s dressing room, that’s why it’s so vital he hangs around for the rest of the current campaign.

“I’d put a price tag of around £15million on him at this moment, which is £5m more than I would have said just a few weeks ago.”

This is high praise coming from a Rangers icon, one that knows what it takes to play and captain the side and win trophies for the club.

Rangers must keep Aribo for as long as possible but this will prove to be tougher and tougher as time goes on due to his fantastic performances.

The club has a proper diamond in its midst and when the time comes, the Ibrox side must command the highest fee possible.
