Rangers have officially launched the 2022/23 away kit this morning with the new red and white jersey available from 9am today.

The Castore-designed kit is a nod back to historic away kits, similar to this season’s home shirt, and features the classic scroll badge as the club appears to have fully moved away from the five stars version of the crest.

While the kit had been previously leaked, bringing a mixed response from fans, the official images look far better than the ones on social media.

The Gers have already launched this season’s home and third kits, both of which have proven to be hugely popular, and the new away is unlikely to be any different.

Rangers last wore a similar design back during Paul le Guen’s ill-fated stint as boss while also wearing it back in the 1980s.

Like the home and third shirts, the away kit will feature the branding of Sportemon Go on the back with fans able to have it replaced with new sponsor Socomec soon.

Fans likely to snap up new Rangers kit in huge numbers

Like the home and away kit, Rangers fans will no doubt buy the new away strip in their droves, ploughing more cash into the club.

This season’s kits – home and away in particular – are probably the best Castore have made since becoming the club’s official partner a few years ago.

While there is no detail on the shorts and socks yet – they’ll likely be red – thee Gers have hit it out of the park with this one.

Here are some of the key dates for Rangers next season as they look to win the Premiership title back
