Rangers Academy keeper Brian Kinnear completes loan move to Camelon Juniors

Rangers Academy keeper Brian Kinnear has joined East of Scotland league side Camelon Juniors on loan, the Gers have confirmed.
The shot-stopper joins the Mariners until January as he bids to get regular first-team football and help him push his way up the pecking order at Ibrox.

Kinnear was recently named Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the recent Viktoria Plzen Cup in the Czech Republic and the chance the play lower league games regularly will aid his development.
Camelon were made full Scottish FA members this summer and will take part in this season’s Scottish Cup so there’s the prospect of coming up against some league sides during his stint at Carmuirs Park.
Last season, Camelon secured their place in the new-look East of Scotland Premier Division as they look to progress up the pyramid and join the SPFL.

With a number of talented keepers ahead of him, Kinnear will really benefit from playing consistently – even if it is at a lower level.
Kinnear recently signed an extension to his Rangers contract and was part of the squad that lifted the Al Kass Cup and Scottish FA Youth Cup before securing the CAS Under-18 league title.
