Rangers star Niko Katic wants to face Manchester United in the last 32 of the Europa League – despite supporting Arsenal as a youngster.
The Gers will learn their Europa fate on Monday afternoon and the Croatian fancies Rangers’ chances against United if they draw the Old Trafford giants.

After a win and a draw against Porto, who Katic feels are a similar level to Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side, the Ibrox defender thinks that Rangers have shown they can compete against teams of that calibre.
“I would like Man United,” Katic said, as quoted by The Herald.
“They are all good teams in the draw, but whoever comes here to Ibrox will find it really tough.
“When I was a kid I supported Arsenal, but I think we would have a chance against Man United.
“We have shown what we can do. Man United are not playing great just now. When you look at Porto, a club that is not on the same level but a similar one, we showed against them that we can play. So why not against Man United?”
Filip Helander’s foot injury has seen Katic return to the starting XI and the defender looks certain to start against Motherwell on Sunday at Fir Park.

Rangers fans have really taken to the big defender and will be hoping he can do enough to prove to Gerrard he deserves to keep his place once Helander is fit again.
With Arsenal also a possibility for Rangers in the Europa League, Katic might even get to come up against the Gunners in February if he does well.
