angers manager Steven Gerrard has admitted that he is sure Ryan Jack will be “rewarded” for giving him “everything” since taking charge at Ibrox last year – with the midfielder arguably in the best form of his career so far this season.
Jack has been a near-constant in the side under Gerrard at Rangers and the Gers boss hailed the Scotland international’s “big heart” and insisted that is why he’s been such a success at Ibrox.

The former Aberdeen captain signed a new contract just before Christmas that will keep him at Ibrox until 2021 but it seems as though that will be improved on soon.
“I will reward players who reward me with performances,” Gerrard said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“The main ingredient why Ryan is where he is is because he has got something inside him. It’s called a big heart.
“Ryan has given me every drop, everything inside his body. At the right time, I am sure he will be rewarded.”
Jack is almost certain to be involved tonight when Gerrard’s side host FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their Europa League clash.

The arrival of Steven Davis at Ibrox has really helped Jack take his performances to another level and the midfielder seems to have much more freedom to push forward and support the attackers.
Given how crucial he’s been for Gerrard, it’s almost impossible now to imagine the Gers going into a big game without Jack in his usual spot in midfield – and, hopefully, he can remain there for years to come.
