Undoubtedly Rangers’ worst piece of summer transfer business, was bringing in Umar Sadiq, on loan from Roma.
The 21-year-old Nigerian striker, made next to no impact at Ibrox.

That came in the Scottish League Cup semi-final defeat to Aberdeen.
With Alfredo Morelos suspended and Kyle Lafferty cup-tied, Steven Gerrard had little option but to go with the loanee.
He’s tall and rangy, but was off the pace and Rangers failed to score in the game.

However, after returning to Roma, it didn’t take him long to find a new temporary home.
He joined Serie B side, Perugia, on 9th January.
The winter break in Italy, ensures the club have only had two fixtures since his arrival.
However, so far,
unlike Eduardo Herrera at Nexaca, he has done little to prove his doubters wrong.

On Saturday, he faces a big challenge.
Perugia host league leaders Palermo, and Sadiq is set to lead the line again.
One things for sure, he’ll need to do a lot of scoring if he’s going to change the opinion many Rangers fans now have of him.
