Rangers flop Aaron Nemane released by Manchester City

Rangers flop Aaron Nemane has been released by Premier League champions Manchester City after a string of failed loan moves in recent season.
Nemane joined the Gers in 2017 on loan but only managed six appearances in five months at Ibrox before returning to City.

The winger would then have spells in Holland with Go Ahead Eagles and Belgian side Tubize but never really took that next step and City have let him move on after his contract expired.
Nemane is one of six players released by Pep Guardiola’s side this summer, the most high-profile being Vincent Kompany, and the biggest surprise for many Rangers fans will be that Nemane was still on City’s books.

During his brief time at Ibrox, the young winger looked far too light-weight to cope with the rough and tumble of Scottish football.

He never really looked as though he had it in him to turn games around and make a real impact at Ibrox and nobody was surprised when he quietly returned to the Etihad at the end of his loan deal.

At only 21, there’s still plenty of time to carve out a career for himself somewhere but after seeing him at Ibrox, it likely won’t be at the top level.
