On-loan winger, Sheyi Ojo, has come in for more criticism from Rangers fans following a disappointing display in the 2-2 draw against Feyenoord.
Given his lack of recent contributions, Ojo was perhaps a surprise inclusion for this big tie in Rotterdam. Yet, with none of the other options, including Scott Arfield and Brandon Barker, in good form, it was something of a toss-up between them.

Speaking to the Official Rangers Podcast to preview the game, the Liverpool loanee claimed he was hungrier than he’s ever been in his career and willing to help the cause in any way he could, including with defensive work.
There was some evidence of that in a first half where, with the Gers struggling for possession, he dropped deeper to try to get on the ball. Yet, once he got it, his decision-making was often poor and while he launched into the odd challenge, his tracking back wasn’t overly convincing.
In the second half, he posed no real problems for the home defence and was inevitably replaced by Arfield with 15 minutes remaining.
Primarily, Ojo is in the team to create and score goals. However, that’s now a 13-game personal drought, while he’s only registered one assist in all competitions since September [Transfermarkt].

That’s simply not good enough from a player who showed great promise with his initial contributions in July and August.
Ahead of the game, plenty of Bears were concerned about his inclusion in the XI and more chipped in with criticism both during and after the game.
Here’s a selection of reactions:
Sheyi Ojo replaced with 'Anyonebut SheyiOjo'.

Sheyi Ojo has the work ethic of Ovie Ejaria and the quality of Umar Sadiq.

Am I being overly critical or is Sheyi Ojo comfortably the poorest player in the Rangers team most weeks?

17 months old and is already a better footballer than Sheyi Ojo #RangersFC #Feyenoord pic.twitter.com/V2XuhcDEYe

Get your act together mate @sheyi_ojo Awful once again when Gerrard gives you a chance. Must’ve given the ball away about 6 times in that first half. Never run at players and make awful choices every time you get the ball.

Get Sheyi Ojo back down the road man. He offers nothing most games. Get Stewart on man at least he can make a pass and got plenty a movement

Sorry…but Ojo should never ever be mentioned in any ''best'' teams. I love Rangers with all my heart and I hate myself having a go at Rangers players but he's absolutely nowhere near our class.

Whit does Sheyi Ojo honestly bring to this team?! 🤷🏼♂️
— Kyle McDougall (@Kyle_M93) November 28, 2019
We have been brutal but Ojo struggling to make 4 yard passes.
