On Wednesday afternoon, Rangersย launched a brand new RangersTV app and confirmed a digital partnership with Stadion, who are set to create a new and improved club website and app in time for the start of next season [Rangers.co.uk].
Itโs the latest in a whole host of new partnerships for the Gers, who have recently teamed up with US-based club Orange County SC, while also announcing smaller-scale agreements with Trump Turnberry and CryoAction.
Stadion, who are London-based digital sports specialists, have added Rangers to a client list that already features Manchester City and Paris St Germain.

โPartnering with Stadion is an important milestone in elevating the clubโs digital platforms to being best-in-class and fulfilling our ambition to have the most engaging football club website and app in the UK,โ Gers director of marketing and commercial, James Bisgrove, told Rangers.co.uk.
โWeโre excited to unveil the new website and app to Rangers supporters all over the world and provide a vastly improved user experience to consume engaging club content.
โThe Rangers board have provided a strong backing towards the clubโs digital transformation strategy. This has included significant financial investment in modernising our digital platforms with industry-leading partners, such as Stadion & StreamAMG.โ
The prospect of a new website is exciting, but for now, at least, Bears seem more impressed by the look of the new RangersTV app.

Supporters have bemoaned RangersTV functionality issues for some time, and it appears that investment has now been made to improve user experience.
The app will host video content for subscribers and can also be used to watch live games, with a screencast option giving users more flexibility.
Plenty of fans were delighted by the announcement and took to social media to praise the move.
