Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has named his starting XI to face Celtic in today’s Old Firm clash – and Gers fans are buzzing ahead of the game.

The Ibrox boss has made one change to the side that beat Hibs last weekend, as confirmed by the official Rangers Twitter account, with Wes Foderingham coming in to replace the suspended Allan McGregor.

Gerrard’s side have won their last five games since the defeat at Celtic Park and will be desperate to make it six out of six with a win today.

After winning the last meeting between the two sides at Ibrox back in December, there’s a real feeling among supporters that Gerrard’s side can pick up three points.

Despite returning from suspension last weekend against Hibs, Colombian international Alfredo Morelos has had to make do with a place on the bench as Gerrard sticks with Jermain Defoe as his main striker.

Rangers fans on Twitter are split on the decision to go with Defoe ahead of Morelos – although there’s little disagreement over the rest of the starting XI.

With only one game left in the season after today, signing off with a final home win for the campaign would be the ideal way to wrap up Gerrard’s first season at Ibrox.
