On Friday afternoon, there was an official announcement on two departures from the club.
It confirmed Robby McCrorie and Andy Dallas have joined Greenock Morton, on loan.

They will once again be working with former Gers coach, Jonatan Johansson, who took over at The Ton in the summer.
His side currently sit in a healthy sixth position in the Scottish Championship.

In Friday’s press conference, Steven Gerrard gave his opinion on the moves.
“I think it’s very important for their development”, said the manager.
“It’s very difficult to keep Robby here if he’s desperate to play football matches. So, we had to be fair to him.”
“He’ll go and get six months experience fighting for important points and in front of crowds, which will be good for him.”

The moves didn’t come as a huge surprise.
McCrorie, in particular, has been linked with a temporary move for some time.
Meanwhile, prolific reserves goal scorer, Dallas, signed a contract extension on Thursday evening.
Just as in the case of Ryan Hardie, that proved to be a pre-cursor to another loan stint.
This pair are two of the club’s brightest young talents. Therefore, there was plenty of support from Rangers fans on Twitter for the departing youngsters.
