Rangers fans have reacted after Steven Gerrard named his starting XI for the Scottish Cup Fifth Round tie against Hamilton Academical.

The Gers have travelled to the Fountain of Youth Stadium for a 12:31 kick-off, hoping to earn a win to march deeper into the competition

The manager is still without Filip Helander, Ryan Jack and Jermain Defoe through injury, but had no fresh concerns heading into this one [Rangers FC Twitter].

In the end, he made just one change to his starting lineup.

Allan McGregor remains between the sticks and George Edmundson keeps his place in the back four, while Glen Kamara comes in for Steven Davis in midfield.

We expected Greg Stewart to start this one after he was involved in press conference duties yesterday, but there’s no room for him in a front three of Ianis Hagi, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.

There are spots on the bench for the rarely-seen Andy Halliday and winger, Jordan Jones.

Will this side be strong enough to defeat Accies and progress in the cup?
