After comfortably making it through the group stages yesterday with wins over Hong Kong FC and HKFA Red Dragons either side of a 0-0 draw with Wolves, Graeme Murty’s side continued their impressive form into today’s knockout stages.

The Gers came back to beat Leicester City in the quarter-finals before Andy Dallas scored the only goal of the game in the semis to set up another meeting with Newcastle and a shot at revenge for last year.
Despite surging into a 2-0 lead, Rangers needed a last-minute goal to take it to extra-time before Owen Bailey’s goal sealed the win for the Geordies.
