Rangers fans have responded to a club tweet showing footage of the celebrations amongst the travelling supporters to Alfredo Morelos’ equaliser against Porto on Thursday evening.

The Gers are famous for their away support which travels across Europe to vocally get behind the club.

Ahead of the fixture, an incredible video of supporters singing in Portugal’s second city took off on social media.

The players certainly didn’t let the travelling Bears down, either.

It was a fantastic European display against a side who reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season.

Nothing summed up the efficient and quality nature of the display better than Morelos’ goal, either.

A probing pass out from centre-back Filip Helander found Ryan Kent who had tucked in from the left side. The winger then deftly flicked the ball onto Borna Barisic, who ran onto it and delivered a stunning first-time cross right into the path of El Bufalo, who duly controlled it and slammed a finish into the back of the net.

The Colombian’s celebration was relatively calm, but that’s not how you could describe the scenes in the away section.

There were limbs everywhere and fans falling through rows after the goal went in, such was its quality and importance.

Part of the celebration was captured by the TV cameras and when the club Twitter account posted the footage in GIF format prior to Sunday’s league clash against Motherwell, supporters lapped it up.

Here’s a selection of reactions:
