Rangers take on Hearts this afternoon at Tynecastle in the Scottish Premiership and Steven Gerrard has named an unchanged side to the one that defeated St. Mirren in midweek – and Gers fans on Twitter would rather Nathan Patterson started ahead of Jon Flanagan.
The Light Blues head to the capital on the back of two wins and two clean sheets so far in 2020 and will be looking to maintain that record against Daniel Stendel’s Jambos.

With James Tavernier, Filip Helander and Alfredo Morelos still missing, Gerrard has kept faith with the XI that ground out a win against the Buddies as they look to close the gap to Celtic back down to two points,
Reports yesterday had suggested that McGregor could miss the clash after a fall at training but the veteran shot-stopper will take his usual place between the sticks.
Fans on Twitter were hoping Patterson would get the nod after being impressed by the Academy standout when he made his debut in the win over Stranraer in the Scottish Cup but Gerrard has opted to stick with Flanagan’s experience in place of Tavernier.
