Rangers fans have been sending in their submissions and reacting to photographs of the best bluenose dogs as the club decide the World Cup of Dogs on #internationaldogday (26/08).
The club invited supporters to submit photos of their dogs wearing Rangers memorabilia with the general public being invited to vote on group winners before a knockout format.
You’d be absolutely amazed by the number of fans who submitted a picture of their best pal in Rangers colours.

Eight groups of four were eventually decided upon, before fans chimed in with their thoughts to set up the semi-finals.
It went right down to the wire, with both finalists sharing the vote 50/50 after nearly 3000 votes and a tiebreaker bringing it down to most combined votes overall.

The closely contested World Cup of Dogs was eventually won by bluenose Bella, who’s lucky owner is also set to win a prize from the club.
Fans themselves were delighted with the competition, even if some were disappointed their precious pooch didn’t take home the trophy.
