As the squad geared up for the visit of St Mirren, there was a rare sighting in Rangers training on Friday.
Steven Gerrard was pictured getting involved in the session.
Few such images have emerged since he took the reigns at the club, as the ex-Liverpool man is apparently keen to separate Gerrard the player, from Gerrard the manager.

He hasn’t been shy in criticising his players after poor performances this season.
At least he can back it up, though.
Gerrard nearly single-handedly carried Liverpool through the 2000s and picked up multiple major honours – including the Champions League – along the way.

When the pictures were shared by the club’s Twitter account on Friday, some fans suggested he would still be one of the best around.
Of course he has? He would walk into the team even now

Two-and-a-half years after his retirement, these comments are clearly a little far-fetched.
Pace and fitness wise, he would be way off the mark.
Yet, i’m sure that famous range of passing is still in tact.
Most bears were in awe with the technique displayed here, while one eagle-eyed fan claimed sorcery was afoot…
Its doesnt leave you
