Rangers fans are lauded as Ibrox Stadium is ranked as Britain’s “Greatest Ground” by the reputable Four Four Two magazine – landing a blow on Old Firm rivals Celtic in the process.

Ibrox Stadium is world-renowned for its ferociousness with well-travelled legends of the game such as Gianluigi Buffon and Gary Neville ranking it as amongst the most intimidating.

However, whilst us bluenoses are well aware of the power Ibrox possesses on a big European night or a crunch domestic fixture, we’re not known for being excessively indulgent about it.

Yes, we possess one of the most unique, historic and objectively impressive stadiums on Planet Football, but you’re more likely to hear supporters of our Old Firm rivals Celtic bumming up their ground.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

In the media and beyond, Rangers fans are usually made sick by much bleating about their so-called Paradise and its apparent standing in the European game.

But we’ve let the stadium itself do the talking and the decision to rank the mighty Ibrox Stadium as the Best of Britain is sure to be felt by our indulgent rivals.

Rangers and Ibrox Stadium tops the list whilst Celtic Park comes second, with Four Four Two listing their 100 greatest grounds of Britain as part of their September issue.

Manchester United’s Old Trafford is third, whilst the likes of Hearts’ Tynecastle is the next Scottish name on the list in 9th.

Set for release on the 22nd of September, read more about the issue HERE and how you can get your hands on it.

It’s safe to say the release is sure to cause a lot of debate up and down the UK but Rangers fans deserve to feel suitably smug about the final standings.

After all, it’s the passion, pride and noise of the Rangers support which makes Ibrox Stadium what it is.

Speaking of the notorious atmosphere at Ibrox, here’s why Gary Neville recently ranked it as the stand-out atmosphere that he experienced in a career that took him everywhere.
