Rangers have had fans reminiscing over some fantastic goals recently with their Goal of the Day posts – but today’s strike seems to have particularly impressed after the club posted Alfredo Morelos‘ excellent equaliser away to Porto in the Europa League.

The Colombian drew the Gers level with his 16th goal of the season with a composed finish after Borna Barisic’s delightful cross and fans were absolutely loving it.

Morelos’ strike proved crucial in the 3-1 aggregate win over the Portuguese giants and killed off any hopes of a comeback after they had scored ten minutes earlier to take a 1-0 lead at home in the second leg.

The tie finished 1-1 on the night thanks to Morelos’ goal and helped Steven Gerrard’s side progress from their group and set up a clash with Braga in the last 32 of the Europa League.

El Buffalo was brilliant in Europe for the Gers last season and his 14 goals in the Europa League played a massive part in helping the Light Blues reach the last 16.

Hopefully, he can pick up where he left off and find the net against Bayer Leverkusen next month when the sides finally meet in the second leg of the last 16 clash, with the Germans 3-1 up on aggregate.

Fans on Twitter loved seeing Morelos’ strike – with one picking out Ryan Kent’s deft pass to Barisic in the build-up as being under-appreciated.
