Rangers fans want Man United star to join former team-mate at Ibrox

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire sent a good luck message to former Leicester team-mate Andy King last nightand it’s prompted a number of Rangers fans to jokingly suggest a move to Ibrox for the £80million defender.
Maguire completed a world-record move for a defender earlier this summer but that didn’t seem to deter some Gers fans who are keen to see the England star offer back up to Niko Katic and Connor Goldson.

King and Maguire were both key players at Leicester but since the arrival of former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers at the King Power Stadium both have moved on.
While Rangers fans are clearly having a bit of fun in their attempts to lure Maguire north of the border, it only goes to show the gulf between the two leagues when Maguire moves for £80million while some in
Scotland think a player of Alfredo Morelos’ ability isn’t worth a fraction of that.
Maguire has made a good start to life at Old Trafford and, hopefully, his former Leicester team-mate can slot into the Rangers side just as seamlessly.

As most fans were asking Maguire to follow King north – one was quick to jokingly point out that he would “struggle” for a place in the side under Steven Gerrard.
