These Rangers fans are buzzing after Colts Ibrox announcement

Rangers Colts will take on Wrexham at Ibrox later this month in the quarter-final of the Challenge Cup – and Gers fans are buzzing at the prospect of seeing the youngsters in action at home.

The Colts booked their place in the last eight with a shootout win over Solihull Moors last week and will welcome their National League rivals to Ibrox next Saturday – with the first-team out of action due to the international break.

Graeme Murty’s side are the last Colt team in the competition and the coaching staff were keen to bring the tie to Ibrox rather than taking it elsewhere.

With Rangers fans become more and more disillusioned with the national team, there’s likely only going to be one game that grabs their attention that weekend.

A bumper crowd at Ibrox would be a fantastic experience for the Colts and give them an excellent platform to, hopefully, book a semi-final place.

Fans are delighted the game is taking place at Ibrox – with one saying a Rangers game at home during an international break is the “stuff dreams are made of.”
