Rangers Colts Challenge Cup semi-final will take place on Sunday February 16th, with the kick-off at 4.10 pm, the Gers have confirmed.

Fans are already looking forward to the clash and even more fans will now get to follow the action with BBC Alba showing the game live.

Murty’s side have bested Berwick Rangers, Stranraer, Ballymena United, Solihull Moors and Wrexham to reach the semis and will be hoping to beat the Championship challengers and book a final spot.

They booked their place in the last four after a dominant win over Wrexham at the weekend and are the last Colt team left in the competition.

With the first-team in action at Ibrox the day before when they face Livingston in the Scottish Premiership, there had been fears the games would clash, however, common sense has prevailed and the Colts will now play on Sunday.

Partick Thistle face Raith in the other semi-final on Saturday afternoon with the final the following month.

Caley away represents the toughest test in the competition for Murty’s side and it would be a real statement from them to beat a Championship title contender with a host of players unavailable.
