Celtic held their AGM today, 24 hours after Rangers held theirs, and it was unsurprisingly dominated with talk about the Gers.
One of the main issues was the long-standing ‘Resolution 12‘ as half-baked Celtic fans want the club to report the handling of Rangers’ Scottish FA licence prior to 2012 to the City of London police and UEFA.
Celtic have repeatedly kicked it into the long grass and have succeeded in doing so long enough to time bar any potential UEFA sanctions, not that UEFA have any interest in the lunacy.
The board recommended the motion be voted against, with the result to follow later, as the ridiculous conspiracy theories grow.
Celtic had called for an independent investigation into the issue a number of years ago, which the Scottish FA declined, although the prominent role played by Lawwell at the Scottish FA at the time would suggest he’s trying to speak out of both sides of his mouth at the same time.
With the push for an investigation now looking dead and buried, some fans have turned on the club, accusing them of being “spineless.”
Here are some of the best comments from the Resolution 12 meltdown:
The Celtic Board have been found woefully inadequate and wilfully dismissive in dealing with Resolution 12. #ticagm

Any truth in the rumour that if we collectively stop buying home game tickets and merchandise resolution 12 will be put legitimately on table
