Both Rangers and Celtic fans have been handed a sizeable boost ahead of the Betfred Cup Final with the news that the match will kick-off at 3pm on Sunday the 8th of December.
Old Firm matches are routinely played at 12pm on Sunday afternoons and this has proven a common gripe for both sets of fans.
But with the match set to kick off three hours later, supporters will get an extra few hours in bed on the morning of the match or in the pub before the game kicks off.

Generally, domestic league matches at either Ibrox or Parkhead are kept to an earlier time to avoid any anti-social behaviour.
The last time the two clubs faced off against each other in a final – the League Cup Final of 2011 which Rangers won 2-1 after extra time – the match kicked off at 3pm.
The later kick-off time helps make this more of a unique occasion for supporters with Rangers now one win away from their first piece of major silverware since the club’s financial problems in 2012.
Rangers progressed to the final with a resounding 3-0 victory over Hearts at Hampden, with Alfredo Morelos stealing the plaudits for the Gers.
Celtic made the final the night previously, defeating Hibernian 5-2 at Hampden to earn their place in what promises to be a special occasion for Scottish football.
