Bayern Munich and Manchester City are reportedly among the some of the clubs looking to sign Rangers Academy star Kai Kennedy, according to a report, as the Gers face a fight to keep the young sensation at Ibrox.
According to the Daily Record, the 17-year-old has caught the eye with a string of stunning performances for the Gers and is attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Kennedy was recently the ’19th man‘ for the first-team clash with Hamilton and regularly trains with Steven Gerrard’s first-team squad.
The teen was part of the side which lifted the CAS Under-18 league last season and played a role in the Scottish Youth Cup triumph as the Gers swept everyone aside.
Kennedy was also named Player of the Tournament at the Alkass Cup at the start of 2019 after some tantalising performances.
This season he has had a regular part in Graeme Murty’s Colts side as they have impressed in the Challenge Cup and UEFA Youth League.
Kennedy’s Ibrox deal runs until the end of next season, meaning the Gers would be in a position to demand a hefty fee if anyone makes a move this summer.

The young winger clearly has bags of talent and, hopefully, Rangers can get him secured on a long-term deal and keep him at the club well into the future.
If the likes of Bayern or Man City do make a move for the throwback winger, the Gers must do everything they can to make the most of it and ensure they aren’t left virtually empty-handed for a player who should have a huge future.
