One of the issues that Rangers have carried over from last season is that good quality chances and a clinical edge is still a struggle despite players like Danilo being added to the squad.
The 24-year old Brazilian was in fine form in pre-season games for Feyenoord but has game time has been limited for his two goals so far.
Speaking to The Scotsman, Kenny Miller has asked why Rangers have yet to turn to Danilo with Cyriel Dessers continuing to be Michael Beale’s preferred option.

Rangers need to find a way to make Danilo the main man
A fee of £6m was reportedly paid for the former Ajax academy graduate and, for that sort of money, he should be one of the first names on the team sheet.
Reflecting on the forward line’s current issues, Miller said:
MORE RANGERS STORIES
“Six million quid, maybe, has been spent on a striker [in Danilo] that’s not starting any games at the moment – and there have been changes to the front-line, but he’s not been one of them.
“So, that’s when you start to think if there’s something else going on.

“Is he struggling to settle in Glasgow?
“You just don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.
“But there’s got to be something.
“You don’t spend that money on a player who played for the team that won the Dutch league last year and now he can’t get a game in a front-line that’s not firing.”

Miller has a good point, if would be different if Dessers was flying and the team as a whole was doing well but there has to be a way for Rangers to get Danilo into the starting XI.
He was signed as a central striker so, squeazing him onto the left-hand side of the attack is a waste.
Dessers has looked like a good option despite the lack of goals, whether Beale tries a partnership or goes to a front three similar to the one that won the title remains to be seen.
Michael Beale has two weeks and, on the other side, Rangers fans will be expecting to see Danilo in the line up to face St Johnstone – he was the exciting summer signing.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
And the manager has a decision to make.
