Man United loanee sends heartfelt message as he returns to Old Trafford

Amad has taken to Twitter to thank Rangers after his loan stint in Glasgow came to an end – and it appears there won’t be a return to Ibrox for the Man United wonderkid.

After moving to Ibrox in the closing days of the January transfer window, Amad started off with a debut goal before struggling for game time until the final weeks of the season.

A string of impressive cameos raised hopes that the Gers could thrash out a deal to keep him at Ibrox next season but his post on social media suggests that won’t be happening.

Taking to Twitter, Amad wrote: “Thanks guys it was a pleasure to be part of your beautiful trip…wish you all the best.”

Amad managed ten appearances for the Light Blues in the league as he tried to force his way into a regular place in the side under Gio van Bronckhorst.

Former Rangers loanee Amad faces big challenge at Man United

Now, he’ll be looking to impress new Man United boss Erik Ten Hag as the Dutchman takes the reins at Old Trafford this summer.

Amad is scheduled to be among the United players who will return when pre-season starts on June 27 for the Man United players and it will be interesting to see whether he is given a first-team opportunity.

Having already taken to the gym to start work ahead of the new season, it is clear that the former Rangers loanee is doing everything he can to impress.
