Jones is one of three players joining Steven Gerrard’s side when their contracts end this summer with Steven Davis and Jake Hastie also completing moves to Ibrox.
The Northern Ireland international is confident the Gers will win the league from bitter rivals Celtic “sooner rather than later.”
“I’m itching to get started with Rangers and put my marker down,” Jones said as quoted by the Daily Record.
“I’m not going just to say: ‘I play for Rangers.’ I want to be a real success and believe I can go there and do that.
“We are going to be playing European football in front of big crowds and I have no doubt we will win the league at some point – hopefully, that will happen sooner rather than later.”
The winger will face tough competition for a place at Ibrox with Gerrard’s squad already packed with wingers.
Daniel Candeias, Glenn Middleton, Hastie, Eros Grezda and likely Ryan Kent or Sheyi Ojo will all be competing for places, meaning there’s no room for complacency.
After impressing at Kilmarnock, Jones will be hoping to make an immediate impact when Europa League qualifying gets underway in July and force his way into the starting XI.
