Jed Wallace: Rangers linked to Millwall star alongside quarter of Premier League

Rangers are one of a number of clubs reportedly tracking Millwall attacker Jed Wallace, according to a report in Football League World.

The Ibrox side have been mentioned alongside the 27-year-old attacking midfielder along with Old Firm rivals Celtic and Premier League duo West Ham and Newcastle United.

Brentford, Burnley and Crystal Palace are also said to be monitoring the player’s situation, whilst West Brom are another side being linked.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Jed Wallace is out of contract at the Den come the end of the season and is the latest pre-contract target being linked to Ibrox.

The report claims that there is an offer on the table for the Englishman from Millwall but his fine form has plenty casting an eye over the creative midfield player.

Wallace has started season 21/22 on fine form and continues to impress, already scoring three goals for the English Championship side.

This backs up an impressive haul of 39 goal contributions across the last two seasons, with Wallace contributing 21 Championship goals and 18 assists.

The player himself has been clear that his “dream” is to get Millwall promoted to Premier League and has played down his role in the contract negotiations.

“There was a conversation a few months ago and that’s been documented,” said Wallace [News at Den].

“I don’t have much expertise in contracts and negotiations. I’m just concentrating on playing football, playing the best I can.

“My dream is to get Millwall promoted to the Premier League, I’ve never hidden away from that and I’m doing the best I can to try and help us do that.”

Rangers have also been linked with a move for another EFL star this week, with the Gers reportedly battling some of the Premier League’s top clubs for a teenage talent.
