Rangers captain James Tavernier has been speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s important league fixture against Livingston.
The match comes just three days after the Europa League victory against Sparta Prague and a quick turnover will be key to continue our impressive start under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
“The boys are always hungry; they are at Rangers for a reason. We are here to win games and trophies,” said Tavernier [RangersTV] suggesting that settling for just one title is not an option for the current squad.

“Last night you saw the focus on the game plan from the boss, it is only going to get better with the time we spend together,” he continued.
The game plan was indeed executed to perfection in what was an excellent response to the poor showing against Hibs in the League Cup semi-final.
Quite a few members of the squad have been underperforming in recent months, affecting both results and the team’s playing style.
Gone was our free-flowing game which tore opponents apart last season as we strolled to the league title.
Injuries and constant rotation of the side meant there wasn’t a settled starting XI for the first few months of the campaign and that had serious consequences.
With Steven Gerrard leaving the club for Aston Villa and a new manager and backroom staff being appointed, it appears we may have found our mojo again.
I know it’s only one game, but the signs are positive, and it appears that GvB’s arrival has given the squad a big lift.
The new manager seems to have made the correct decision to join the club, with van Bronckhorst’s latest Instagram post showing how much he enjoyed the Ibrox atmosphere on Thursday.
