Even before the Rapid match last night, ask any Rangers fans our two most influential players. James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos.
While there are times when other players step up the plate, few do it quite as regularly as the marauding Yorkshireman and the industrious Colombian.
The duo were arguably the most influential players on the pitch last night and shared the goals against Rapid Vienna.
And the Europa League agrees. Both players made their Official Team of the Week.

Let’s get this into perspective
Rangers had two players out of eleven in the Official Team of the Week. Only Frankfurt and Zenit can boast the same, they also have two players in the squad.
This is out of 48 teams and 24 matches including 528 players. Pretty impressive.
The duo are absolutely vital to any success Rangers will have.
Tavernier has grown and grown since being given the captaincy by Steven Gerrard. He is a commanding, creative force down that right-hand side. His stats since he’s been at Rangers are hugely impressive too.
Alfredo Morelos is a top striker who has attracted suitors from across the globe. He is very much a complete striker who can shoot, pass, run and dribble, if still a little incomplete.
The nonsense treatment he gets by the Scottish press is embarrassing. Morelos is going from strength to strength and we’ve still to see the best of the 22-year-old.
Both James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos are essential parts of how Rangers play.
At home and abroad.
