Rangers fans are being encouraged to get down and cheer on the Ibrox women’s team as part of a dramatic three-team SWPL final day title decider.

The Gers ladies are set to welcome Glasgow City to Ibrox with briefs on sale for supporters as they look to retain their SWPL crown on the final day of the campaign.

Currently sitting second in the SWPL table, Rangers Women are level on points with Old Firm rivals Celtic but have a better goal-difference than the Parkhead outfit by a single strike.

Glasgow City currently sit top of the table ahead of their visit to Rangers, with their two-point lead ensuring that a point would, at the very least, be enough to knock Rangers Women out of the running.

However, should Celtic then beat Hearts, the title would go to the Parkhead Ladies due to the superior goal-difference they boast over Glasgow City.

Rangers fans invited to fill out Ibrox in Women’s team finale

Rangers fans are being encouraged to come to Ibrox for the match, which kicks off at 4:10pm on Sunday 21st May, in order to cheer on the Women.

Tickets begin at £1 for MyGers members and season ticket holders and this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a legendary title win for the Rangers women team.

The Rangers website details how you can pick up briefs.

The Rangers Women need to beat Glasgow City by at least the same difference as Celtic defeat Hearts, with the Parkhead club’s women’s team having scored more goals than Rangers if the goal-difference winds up even.

Given that Rangers need to win against Glasgow City in order to win the title, and that Celtic have a clash against fourth-placed Hearts, the entire thing has brought the SWPL to a stunning crescendo.

As a result, Rangers fans are being encouraged to travel to Ibrox in their numbers and cheer the team on to glory as they look to secure a legendary second title in a row.

It is testament to the work that’s gone into women’s football in Scotland that such an exciting finale is set for the game this Sunday and everyone at the club is willing the Rangers Women on to victory.
