There is never a dull day as a Rangers fan but it would have been nice to have enjoyed the international break without the constant speculation over Michael Beale’s future.
A win over Celtic would have seen a peaceful two weeks but, instead, it has been a void filled with rumour and social media nonsense.
Movement around Ibrox at the weekend added fuel to the fire and that Rangers were about to make a decision on Michael Beale.

Rangers future safe for Michael Beale after Ibrox murmurs
As always, the reality is a lot less interesting than the scandal.
Rangers have a handful of players away on international duty and, after a short break, the bulk of the squad has returned to training.
MORE RANGERS STORIES
There is only one issue for the next couple of days though – England are using Auchenhowie as their training base for the 150th anniversary match against Scotland at Hampden.
Which means that Rangers and Michael Beale had to make themselves scarce.
Ibrox has become a temporary training home which, is far less exciting than the prediction of a press conference to reveal that a 19th manager is being sought or that new investment is going to bank roll the January transfer window.
Social media can be good for many things, starting pointless rumours not being one of them.

After the international break, Rangers need to hit the ground running and Michael Beale has to show signs that he is the man for the job and that he can get his new signings firing on all cylinders.
If he doesn’t, the next time there is speculation, it might turn into something more than just whispers and social media rumours.
