New Rangers signing Nathan Young-Coombes has said he has moved to the best team in Scotland.
The youngster signed a two and a half year deal with Rangers in January. And speaking to The Rangers Ramble, the young forward has suggested it was a move he couldn’t turn down.
The 16 year old England youth international spoke about his playing style, why he chose to move to Ibrox and his ambitions for the future at Rangers.

“I got given the opportunity to play for the best team in Scotland and took it,” explains the former Chelsea and Crystal Palace youth forward.
“I’m a quick, aggressive in behind runner that works hard. My aim is just turning 16 to hopefully be in around training with the reserves later on in the season.”

The striker joins a host of talented youth players Rangers have at Ibrox. It’s an exciting time for the academy.

The youngster is currently in Qatar with the Rangers U17s for the ALKASS Cup. He’s earned a lot of attention for
banging in a classy hattrick in the 7-0 Quarter Final demolition of Tunisian outfit Étoile Sportive du Sahel (ESS).
Whilst it’s been great to see Coombes hit the ground running, it’s important fans temper expectations. It’d be great to see the youngster make the grade at Ibrox, but he’s just that – a youngster.
That said, it’s great to see such ambition from the young lad. Let’s hope he can kick on from here.
Starting with tomorrow’s ALKASS Cup semi final with Japanese outfit Kashiwa Reysol.
