Today’s Old Firm match brought a landmark moment for Rangers midfielder, Ryan Jack.

In the 30th minute, his shot found the back of the Celtic net, via a deflection off Scott Brown.

It was his first goal as a Gers player, and what a time to do it.

After issues with discipline and injury in his early days at the club, Jack has really stood up in recent weeks.

WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.

Ever since an accomplished display away at Rapid Vienna, he has looked a class apart in midfield.

A new contract has since been signed, but his hunger to succeed clearly hasn’t faded.

The goal obviously meant a lot to him. He immediately set off to run nearly the length of the pitch, roaring with delight as Ibrox descended into chaos.

The goal meant a great deal to Rangers Football Club, too.

To many fans, despite recent improvements, a failure to beat Celtic in the league for so long, suggested the team were still someway off genuinely challenging for silverware.

Today changed all that, and belief will flood through the entire club as a result.

After his goal, Jack was lauded by Bears on Twitter.

It’s fair to say the supporters are pleased with their midfielder.

What a purple patch he is enjoying at the minute and what a feeling that must have been, to score the winner today.

If he stays at Rangers for another ten years, it’ll be tough to top that moment.
