Rangers flop Eros Grezda won’t be part of the squad flying out to Portugal for a pre-season training camp, according to his agent, as his Gers career looks over.
The Albanian withdrew from his country’s squad for the recent Euro 2020 qualifiers and has been absent as Steven Gerrard’s squad have started back for pre-season training.
“He is still with Rangers but at the moment because he was with the national squad and there was some problems last week he will not be in the squad,” Ives Cakarun has been quoted as saying by the Daily Record.
Grezda has had a torrid time since joining from NK Osijek last summer as injuries and poor form have derailed his Ibrox career.
Hopefully, Rangers can claw back some of the transfer fee they spent to bring the winger to Scotland and avoid the deal being a complete disaster.
