Last night, brought another Rangers success in the transfer window.
This one wasn’t a new arrival, but a necessary departure. Striker, Eduardo Herrera has joined Club Necaxa until June.
When the 30-year-old left for Santos Laguna back in July, that deal was due to run the length of the season.

He is contracted until 2020 with the Gers and reportedly earning £20,000 a week.
Such a salary simply isn’t back up by his stats in Scotland, as he only has one goal to show for 19 SPL appearances.
Neither he, nor his compatriot, Carlos Pena, appear to feature in Steven Gerrard’s plans.
Therefore, it’s a major boost to get Herrera off the wage books, albeit, temporarily.

Yesterday, the club
were linked with a former England youth international.
What’s more, with Ryan Hardie’s future still uncertain, Gerrard may still be keeping an eye on potential additions in forward areas.
All in all, this is a positive development for the Gers.
Herrera has failed to impress during his time at Ibrox. Having him off the books, only increases the chances of strengthening the squad further.
